NEWPORT RHODE ISLAND SHOPPING AND SERVICES Belleve Avenue Shops - Newport RI
Newport Rhode Island's fabled Bellevue Avenue is home to many of the
Newport mansions, the International Tennis Hall of Fame and quaint,
unique shops. This is the Rodeo Drive of Newport. One of our favorite
activities is having lunch at La Forge Casino Restaurant. Their sidewalk
cafe makes a great spot to people watch and they also offer a patio
overlooking the tennis courts at the Tennis
Hall of Fame.
Must sees on this street include the Newport Art Museum and Redwood
Library and Athenaeum. There is also some beautiful sculptures to be
enjoyed on this street. George Washington is in front of the Redwood
Library, Commodore Matthew C. Perry is in Touro Park, also home to
the Old Stone Mill and Christopher Columbus is at the intersection
of Memorial Boulevard and Bellevue Avenue.
